PARTICIPANTS: Each Club 56er must be accompanied by a parent (grandparent or other close adult). Families with multiple 5th/6th graders may send just one adult with their family.
COST (includes lodging, food, horseback riding, campfire, hayride, and more): $50 per person ($125 max per FAMILY). The registration deadline is October 1st. Payments are made online when registering. Scholarships are available. This is a confidential process. The deadline for applying for scholarships is September 24th. TIMES: In order to begin the program at 7 pm at Marmon Valley on Friday, families should plan on leaving the Sylvania area NO LATER THAN 4 pm on October 6th. We should return to Sylvania around 7 pm on Saturday, October 7th.
TRANSPORTATION: Participants can indicate on their online registration form if they are willing to drive or prefer to ride with someone. Becky Rydman will work out the transportation plan for everyone. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION PLANS, please let Becky know ahead of time.
LODGING: We will be staying in bunk houses; one for the males and one for the females. Dads who bring their daughters and Moms who bring their sons will be separated only for sleeping.
ACCOMMODATIONS: We will be sleeping in bunk beds with mattresses. Shower and restroom facilities (indoor plumbing!!) are available.
FOOD: Saturday’s meals will all be provided. We will also have snacks available while we are on the retreat. PLEASE eat dinner on your own on Friday night.
